"Dunamis Drove will be a youth focused safe haven, in partnership with families, that is built on the fundamental pillars of authentic community, education, and spiritual wellness."
It began with a vision and call from God to build a safe place for His children to gather and experience the love of Christ. A calling to invest in the lives of teens and those in the early stages of transitioning into adulthood. From our days starting in the Fall of 2021, where our board members (7) out numbered our event participants, to today where well over dozens of area youth attend discipleship events and build mentoring relationships with those in the family of God!
Our path has been to listen to God and let Him take us where we are meant to go. This journey has been nothing short of amazing! Our mission, vision, and community has grown, but our principles remain the same, to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the namne of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt 26:19).
What We Believe
We believe the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired word of God, without error.
We believe in one God existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the creation of all things by Him and through Him.
We believe man was created by God in His own image, but fell into sin. As such, redemption comes only by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit and restoration of relationship with God.
We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal and divine Son of God, took on human nature, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and exists in two natures, fully God and fully man.
We believe Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and died in our place and for our salvation, was buried, and physically rose to life again three days later and that by faith in His perfect work of redemption man can be born again to new life and eternal salvation.
We believe that once a man confesses with his mouth, and believes in his heart, that Jesus Christ died for his sin and was resurrected, they attain eternal life through faith and that is secure for all of eternity.
We believe the church is composed of all those who by faith in Christ and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit are knit together in one body, of whom Jesus Christ is the Head.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit given to the church to be used for the glory of God and for His kingdom purposes, according to His will.
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, and the final defeat of sin, Satan, and death.
